Post Update instructions Please

Guys, I know the new v3 template is basically the same and most of the main files, but could you post a quick list of exactly what new files are different in the new v3 version and what different settings may be needed, I don't want to cock anything up here, just trying to upgrade from v2, a list of new files and their function would be wonderful, I don't know what all the files in the folders actually do!
Also, how do you change the main category titles on the index page, you know Electronics, gifts ect... I could never find an editable list in v2 and now v3 on any of the .php, or .tpl related files.

You change the category names in the constants.inc.php file, that much I do know.

I can't help ya with the other bit though, someone offiical can have that one, i'm starting over from scratch for version 3, so will be doing everything fresh, especially as i'm going to be integrating some nice new sale grabbing shizzle that i'm designing, gotta be going for that £65 a month big style, if i'm gonna stand any chance at all of gettng near it...

I'd seen that George, which will come in handy for one of my sites, but that doesn't really answer deekstar's question to be honest. He wants to know exactly which files and templates and the likes have changed, not how to upgrade from 2 to 3, which is actually good information to know, seeing as with me too, my Amoochi site customised just about every single file going, so knowing that some didn't change at all between v2 and v3, if they didn't, would make the process of redoing certain tweaks much quicker...

Oops, my bad. I was just responding to this part:

just trying to upgrade from v2
That how to guide will basically take your v2 install and move it to the v3 system, theoretically
That should keep styles intact etc.

As for a list of exactly which files have changed in v3 to incorporate the new features/functions, well to be honest it is most files.

The "how to" guide just means that you can put your current install onto v3 without having to "start from scratch" I guess it is aimed at those who want a slower approach to migration.
