How to change hot picks category?

i have found this works

$oHotPicksParams-> sQuery= 'dvd';
$oHotPicksParams->iLimit= 6;
include_once('elements'.DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'hot_p icks.php');

i have found this works

it in root 'elements' folder, file is 'hot_picks.php' and line numner 41. I hope it will help you.

Every time I open my site, I see the same products staring back at me!

Can the code be changed so that it shows random hot picks?

I've seen this on other SW sites but was wondering if they had incorporated a script to do the job.

i think it depends on the category of hot picks, if lots available it will rotate them, maybe they are the only ones in that category, or they are so HOT they take a long time to cool down
