Permalinks

Does anyone know how to change the links to permalinks.

For Example, instead of the link being

http://www.mydomain.com/category.php?rb=4-281

it would read

http://www.mydomain.com/category/finance/

I have seen this here: http://www.directdiscount.co.uk/

It seems to have the same structure as a wordpress site, but not sure how they have achieved this.

Any help would be good!

The site you refer to is a Price Tapestry installation and is not based on the Shop window API.

Search the forum for say 'mod rewrite', etc - there are lots of threads on how to approach this issue e.g. http://www.shopwindowforum.com/showthread.php?t=564&highlight=mod+rewrite
