Template Folder and Cache unwritable

Hi,

Ive just installed my first site and get the following errors:
Template folder writable: NO ( Please change the permissions on the folder "/home/sites/comparetheprices.net/public_html/smarty/templates_c/" to be writable )
Cache folder writable: NO ( Please change the permissions on the folder "/home/sites/comparetheprices.net/public_html/smarty/cache/" to writable )

I don't have either of these folders in my distribution file set.

I think they will have been called
smarty/cache and
smarty/templates_c
