In June, powerplaydirect ran an incentive. For every 500 impressions an affiliate gave their banners, they'd give us a T-shirt.
Just for a bit of fun, we are running a competition through June whereby for every 500 banner impressions we get on your sites we will send you a FREE T-Shirt.
This requires very little work from you (which is always nice) and could result in a very snazzy new look for you (and your website)
Of course, we are all hoping that these banner impressions eventually turn into clicks and sales, but for the time-being it's all the impressions that count.
I hope this gives you all some food for thought, we have a great selection of new creative and more coming all the time. Obviously if you require any further, custom creative please get in touch!They soon changed this incentive so it ended early on the 15th and included Mugs, caps, CD's and other merchandise in the offering.
Due to the extraordinary response to the below competition (thank you all!) I have a horrible feeling that I will run out of T-Shirts before the month is out.
As such we need to shorten the competition length to the first half of the month (1st - 15th) which is still plenty of time to get in your 500 impressions and also open up the prizes to Hats, Promo CDs, DVDs and any other of a host of promotional materials we have in our posession.
We are also going to offer one bigger prize of 2 chart DVDs/CDs, 1 console game (of your choosing) or an iPod Shuffle to the affiliate who gives the most impressions this month.
I am sorry the showdown won't run for as long as we had originally wanted to it, but here's hoping we still get as much out of it as we would have before.Sorry, they weren't offering Mugs were they? why have I got the word "Mug" in my head?

since then, there has been no contact from PowerPlay, no "You have earned X number of T-Shirts", not even a "Thank you for displaying our banners"
So now they're no longer with AffWin, and this was an AffWin retailer promotion, what chance (other than Fat-Chance) is there for us hard working affiliates to get our X number of items earned through this promotion?
Has anyone else heard from PowerplayDirect regarding this incentive?
How many items did you earn through this incentive?
