Hi All,
Firstly, Id like to say how happy we are that you are all finding the ShopWindow Toolset of interest and value.
Many of your integrations (working and completed) are being showcased internally in order to demonstrate your creativity and need.
This is just a quick post to touch on a couple of points that I feel need clarification, so that we can all continue working towards developing our Tool of choice.
Skill Requirements
The ShopWindow Toolset has been developed and released to each target a particular affiliate audience:
ShopWindow API - This tool is aimed at developer level affiliates who have a good understanding of SOAP and WSDL.
Client Software - This tool is aimed at those affiliates who have good web editing skills. In order to customise the presentation of Client Software, you must have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS. In order to edit Client Software at a data level, you must have a good working knowledge of the PHP scripting language.
ShopWindow Direct - This tool is aimed at the standard affiliate, and requires knowledge of integrating a hyper / banner link within a web page.
Please ensure that before you select your desired Tool, you have the required skill set outlined above.
ShopWindow Forum & Support
The ShopWindow Forum was initially setup in order to allow for an online support community to grow, which would allow for users to support each other. With the help of some key affiliates regularly posting, this has been initiated and we have every confidence that this will continue to evolve.
As a network, we appreciate that a certain level of support is required on launch of such a diverse Toolset, and therefore have been trying our best to deal with your queries.
However, please bare in mind that although we are here to provide you with support, we are not here to customise or develop solutions for you, in particular Client Software. This is the responsibility of the affiliate.
Support over Easter Holiday
In order to ensure that support levels are maintained and provided, please take note of the following support system in place from 5.00 PM Thursday 5th April to 9.00 AM Tuesday 10th April 2007:
As this is out of office hours, response times may be slightly delayed, so please be patient as we work towards answering your queries.
Quota issues = please ring or text on: 07950-200-166
ShopWindow Forum = will be reviewed each morning and evening at some point between 9.00 - 11.00. Where possible, this will be monitored through the day.
If you have issues which require information to be communicated, please email it to the following:
