ETA for Shop Window v2?

I joined AW about a week before Shop Window v2 was announced, did a lot of work on Shop Window v1 then abandoned it in favour of waiting a relatively short period of time for v2 i.e. the "full and final launch for the end of March" (http://www.shopwindowforum.com/showthread.php?t=560).

I know that coding always throws up bugs and things don't always go to timescale, but it's now the end of May (2 months later than planned) and still no news...

Having some kind of online shop attached to the rest of the website is now becoming a priority and I don't want to have to go down the route of importing datafeeds into MySQL and writing the PHP code to pull out the products in some semblance of order (I code slowly and unsurely!!!).

Is v2 going to be with us soon? Or should I start handcoding the datafeeds?

Hello Emma,

I can assure you that we are in the final stages now regarding V2. We recently ran a testing group which included a number of members of this forum whereby they had the chance to get some hands on experience with the new version and help us to find any bugs and identify any necessary changes.

These changes and bugs went into development so that we can make the new version as robust as possible when it is released in full soon.

I do believe that waiting for the new version, which will be released in the not too distant future, is most likely the best thing to do at this stage.
