Hi guys,
As a follow up step to the migration of the ShopWindow servers yesterday we need to re-configure one of our network components at 08:00 on Monday morning (19th). This network upgrade will create additional fault tolerance/resilience for all of the ShopWindow platform.
While this upgrade is taking place all ShopWindow servers will be unavailable.
Best Case Scenario
The upgrade will go as planned and take three or four minutes to complete. This means that ShopWindow will be down for 3 or 4 minutes.
Worst Case Scenario
To allow the engineers time to fully fix the problem and to avoid any further periods of downtime they may take up to an hour to perform the upgrade. This means that worst case scenario will be that ShopWindow will be down for a maximum of 1 hour.
We were aiming for this work to be carried out in the early hours of the day (2am) however this is not possible.
We apologise for the inconvenience and short notice.
