Navigation width?!?

Hi, your probably all sick of me asking questions by now, but I have another problem.
Im trying to re-size the nav menu on the side. Apparently 34px makes all the difference to the design.
Anyway, tried CSS changes, it made the menu wider, but made the main site content jump underneath the navigation.

I'm guessing I haveto make the main content smaller or something? PHP coding perhaps? or am I just doing the wrong CSS edits.

I changed #sw_nav width and #sw_content margin to 10px more than sw_nav

Ignore previous post, fault was because I needed to also change #sw_container margin-left to same as #sw_nav width.
