Until a few weeks ago I was getting regular commission from Joules and occasional from Mad4Ponies. For the last 3 weeks ish I have had no sales at all. This is very strange as I have more links and banners on now than previously.

Is anyone else who promotes these merchants finding the same?

It's very odd!

Well I've had sales every week for months now (mostly Joules) but suddenly they have just stopped. Thought I'd check with other affiiates before I ask AW if it's a tracking problem.

Hi Guys,

Will get someone to have a look into this shortly for you. May be a potential tracking problem but will let you know when I hear more.

Hi Guys,

I've checked this out and can safely say there is nothing wrong with the tracking on either programme. I have also looked at statistics for them and everything seems in order from our end. As you know sales can fluctuate quite considerably sometimes and i'm sure it wont be long till you see some again.

Has anyone else noticed anything with either of these merchants recently?

It might be worth carefully checking your links/banners across your entire site for now.

Please keep me informed if you find no improvement with this.

Cheers,

Perhaps my post was a little misleading - no I haven't had any sales, but I haven't been pushing either of these directly (yet), so that's not surprising.

My sales have never been great but November has just gone dead  how's everyone else doing?

Still no sales at all. Very odd considering it is the run up to Christmas. I think I'll have to place an order to convince myself that the tracking is working.

Sales are fine for November - try running the 'Performance' report for the whole year - set it to show 400 results per page then look at your grand total EPC and conversion rate over time - You should find that it is remarkably consistent - if not brilliant!

For comparative purposes, my overall EPC for the year is £0.08 with a conversion rate of 2.31% - in other words about one sale every 43 clicks! Not very good but main reasons have to be the still large amount of awful feed content and inconsistent images that detract from a site's appearance.

Then run the results for each month if you want to - for example, for November to date I am seeing £0.10 EPC and 2.93% conversion rate - so, in my case, I would conclude that November is better than average so far. The reason I look at the averages is that Google traffic is up and down at the moment from day to day as traffic comes and goes as a result of Google's current incosistent indexing.

I would be interested in other people's current performance stats - so how are you all doing?

Sept - £0.22 EPC 1.84% CR

Oct - £0.14 EPC 1.89% CR

Nov (to 18th) - £0.13 EPC 2.08% CR

Year to date: £0.14 EPC 1.25 CR

Not sure if that tells me anything really, perhaps just improving the targeting as time goes on.

Whahey. Finally had a sale from M4P. First one for weeks. Now I just have to decide what to spend my 0.91 on. Decisions decisions...
