I decided to try and get my head around the API rather than use one of the templates, and this is what I've come up with so far...

http://0rder.net/

It's pretty basic at the moment, as I've only been working on it for a few days now, but it has some nice features behind the scenes such as caching data for speed and to help prevent me going over my daily API operations allowance.

Excellent use of the Categories, nice way to offer the user path :D

.... compared to the SW way then the collapsible menu system is a definite improvement - any chance of creating alternative category tree building options within SW?

Love the collapsible menu!!
This is something i tried to acheive but failed miserably.

From just an SEO point of view, the collapsible menu would be far better as every category would be accessible with one click from every page (Big G would love that!)
And from a user Navigation point of view, there'll be less window closing as they're less likely to get lost.

Well done xlcus!

I'm never sure if it's better to have everything one click away or to go for the 'theme pyramids' - depends on the depth of your site i guess. it's a nice site though you're braver than the rest of us :)

Braver? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that comment... :)

how about to make this small thumbs bigger? Thanks for the suggestion. I did try it with bigger thumbnails, but prefered the look of them small. Makes the list quite neat and tidy. Personal preference I guess :)
