Ive found that somebody can't be bothered to add any data.
I'm getting a huge amount of results where EVERYTHING is empty, especially within the Computers & Software category.
So, I'd like to ignore these completely. i dont want empty product place holders, I want neat, good looking product results. I want to appear on the ball and professional, As I'm sure we all do.
Ive managed to get the product list to only display a product if the product name isnt empty, but that's not good enough.
The api still has to download all this crap data from the feed, I still get the full count of products including the crap data. So i can end up with nothing displayed, yet the page tells me there are 5000+ results.
Is it possible to get the call to ignore empty values and not even bother downloading them?
If i was using a database, id simply add WHERE productname != "" to my SQL query.
Is that kind of thing possible from our end, or could it be possible at the Affiliate Window end?
I'm getting abit desperate now. Ive got a deadline but the more I play the more problems I find and the bigger the issues.
We can't sell if theres nothing to sell and if users find enough crap results, they will close their browsers and go to kelkoo or amazon.
I'm sure it's in everyone's best interests that we come up with a solution quickly.
