View Full Version : Refineby HTTP 500 error
Hi I was wondering if someone could help put me in the right direction on how to fix this refineby error. Any link in my refineby table leads to HTTP 500 error.
Could anyone please shed some light on this issue?

There is a chance that you are having a related error to this (http://www.shopwindowforum.com/showthread.php?t=1438&highlight=refine+by) if you are indeed on 1and1 hosting.
Let us know and we can get it sorted.
Did anyone find an answer to this. I have set up shopwindow on a site and any time you click on a refineby it errors HTTP 500. Here is an example:

I have contacted both 1and1.co.uk and affiliatewindow with little success - both blame each other but neither will talk to each other. 1and1.co.uk say it is a scripting error. Affiliatewindow have not really given a reason. I am at a loss. Is there any help out there?
i have had this error with the refine by's on hostgator for months now, hostgator are usually great to have a site on. the thing is refine by's were working fine for almost 2 years with client 2, both 2 and our 3 test site are chucking out the blank 500 error pages on hostgator. hostgator say something has changed at the affiliate window end, something to do with a soap command, but then i did a fresh install of client 2 and 3 on a new hosting account and all was working fine. I'm sure this is annoying the visitors we get each day who like to narrow down price and brand information. Has anyone found an answer to this sudden refine by error that was working fine for so long?
