Is price comparison possible?

Hi,

Can you please let me know if price comparison is possible by integrating showwindow into a website?

Example. merchant 1 has product a. merchant 2 has product a. product a has a aw code of 123.

By searching for 123 within my site both merchant 1 and merchant 2 appear for product a.

Hi Vesper,

To understand this correctly, you mean by searching for a product ID such as TX23LXD60 will return all matching results and sort by price?

If yes, this can be done but the user has to sort by price low - high.

If you go to http://www.shopwindow.com and enter the term TX23LXD60, and then select sort by "Price: Low-High" I believe this will return the results you require.

Thanks for the reply. That is along the lines of what I mean. However, if, for example, you searched for 'ps3', it will list all consoles, accessories and games.

What if I only want the consoles to appear?

Hi Vesper,

A user search would return results with any product that has the search term within the name, brand, category, promo, desc and specs.

Moving forward, this is a key area that we are looking into redefining to ensure that searches are more efficient (however the more defined the search term the more defined the results are)

I think that expanding on suggested categories etc will help this to evolve.
