Hi,

Am trying to add wordpress into my sites. I have installed into http://www.mysite.com/Blog/. does anyone know how to call the wp template tags from SW pages?

or is it better to call SW from WP?

I'm trying this too, but I can't see much point in lashing them together too tightly - just build a theme for each installation that cross-links between the two in the sidebar and header.

This is what I did:

1) Installed Shopwindow, re-skinned it, renamed the index.php file to shop.php.
2) Installed Wordpress, re-skinned it.

Next stage will probably be to set up some includes that the Shopwindow header and the Wordpress header / sidebar / footer can both call so that they don't need updating separately.

Hello Andy - am impressed with what you've done with the Wordpress/Shopwindow combo :D

Being a newbie to both Wordpress and Shopwindow - would you be able to give us a brief duffers guide on how to get started with it please :)

I've got both Wordpress setup and Shopwindow installed - but I'm a bit perplexed as to how to get the two talking shop as it were :o

If you are unable to help then I can fully understand.

To be honest with you, mate, they're more sitting next to each other like vicars at a tea party than wrapped 'round each other like lovers.

And all I've done is prettified both installations the same way, editing headers, footers and sidebars to contain the same content and having the WP theme call the ShopWindow stylesheet.
