Hi everyone.

I have just recently joined Affiliate window, partly because of the great programs but also because of the Shopwindow facility, which I though would be very useful. But a major part was this forum. I have read through many threads and was grateful to see the valuable information and help that is available on here. What a great community.

I was really looking forward to moving forward, but can you imagine my disappointment when I tried to get the ShopWindow only to find that it was closed for upgrading. I did contact support but was told that they had no idea how long it would be unavailable but affiliates would be notified when it was back up again.

Is there no way I can load up the previous version or something. I feel so frustrated. Like I am stuck at the start line but can't run anywhere if you know what I mean. I don't want to start creating something else then change it over to ShopWindow.

Is there not a previous version that I can load up? Does anyone know how long these upgrades usually take?

I want to get moving.

Lisa

Hello Lisa,

There should be a bit more information in this thread:
Service Notification (http://www.shopwindowforum.com/showthread.php?t=1219)

Just to reiterate what you have said:

Once the new platform has been released, a variety of access options will be available which will allow you to continue your activity through ShopWindow.

Once the work has been completed, and swift progress is being made daily, you will be allowed onto the platform.

Requesting an earlier version will allow you to begin work, however, the issue that you will face is that your quota will not be upgraded during this time. This will mean that once 500 operations have been used on your account the install will cease to function.

I fear that if you did get your hands on a previous version you would find it much more frustrating as the install would be stop, start, stop, start, stop, start constantly.

Regards

Thank you very much George for confirming the situation to me. As I mentioned I am new to Affiliate Window and also this forum so please excuse me for not knowing the correct section to check for information.

I am sure that all the hard work everyone is putting into developing ShopWindow will be of benefit to everyone.

Thank you.
