Conversion Rates

Curiosity is getting the better of me!

I have a site which is already getting some natural traffic and results, the site uses a 'Buy Now' button rather than say a 'More info' button so I would expect a pretty high conversion rate from those who click the button.

I know that it is early days yet but my stats show that about 10% of visitors actually hit the 'Buy now' button (include a standard banner somewhere on your template to count page views!) and of those about 2.5% convert - so about 1 sale per 400 page views. So, my view is that the conversion rate is a little disappointing!

How are you doing, percentage wise?

not done anything like the stats to work it out.

I get about about 1000 uniques to my main site where my shop is linked from plus some natural traffic. I'm getting loads of clikcs in the shop but very few sales - think I've had 3/4 so far in 2 weeks

My sales has dropped tremendous too. what could the problem? could it be too many navigation page to reach merchants? at least 2-3 pages

Me too!
The conversion rate for my site completely sucks! The traffic is high quality and should convert.
Is this working out for anyone?
