filter results & make menu?

I'm wanting to do a simple "tweak".

As an example, I'm looking at a simple shop window client to show products from a single category, however, there's no matching sub category.

The examples I'm "playing" with are "Office Supplies" and I'm wanting to specifically target toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges ideally with a menu by brand on the left.

Any suggestions or examples you can point me to?

Hello monaghan,

I believe that if you are looking for printer cartridges that you should try the Printer Consumables category instead as this is where merchants such as Epson are currently mapping their products.

Once you have switched your vertical over to this category you should then be able to manipulate the brand refine by option to show the brands.

Thanks, missed the category, woudl still appreciate a few pointers on how to get a sub menu on the left of the page though where there are no sub categories.

For sub menu or the main navigation within a category I just made up my own sub categories and use the search function for them http://www.lumens.co.uk
