Hi everyone

It's a bit naff but www.thepricecutter.co.uk is my v2 site, i will be launching it again mid-december but i kind of had to get it up in a rush since hiding it behind another site was a bit naff.

what do you all think?

hi

1. It's almost exact copy of default.shopwindow.com - nothing wrong with it but has no uniqueness or anything extra to offer.

2. Front page - it's my personal thing I guess - but I just go away almost instantly when I land on a page where more than 50% of the "content" are actually banners and other "flashy creatives" (read: ad cr**). It's also quite difficult to get any indexing for pages like this I reckon but it doesn't matter due to 1.) Interesting though since AK Designs is talking about SEO.

3. I would suggest making the logo/site name area more separated from the content below, i.e. darker background, frame/border etc. otherwise the page "starts nowhere". The same applies to other components on the site - i.e. top retailers, frequent searches etc. so it's clearly visible when one area ends and another begins.

4. Site logo - the pink shadow matches only these horrible banners. Otherwise it's just wrong.

Hope it helps.
