If there was a link from the AffWin DeepLinks generator, to the merchant page we're creating deeplinks for.

That would rock!:D

*edit*
oh, and it'd be top banana if the search function was available on every page, perhaps top right, in the orange header

Hi Andy,

You will have to clarify for me ... I am having a slow day

If there was a link from the AffWin DeepLinks generator, to the merchant page we're creating deeplinks for.

Where you have merchant page, do you mean the merchant site or the merchant "linking methods" page within the affiliate area?

So have a search function on every page of the affiliate account in the header, what would this search? You type in a merchant and then it will take you to their linking methods page?

Cheers

Something else that would be extremely handy, would be an RSS feed for discount offers, like Tradedoubler recently implemented, they've made my life so much easier.

Or at the very least a pre-formated text or 88x33 type logo link to the merchant site within the xml for the discount vouchers, cause right now it's more hassle than it's worth to use them.

Cheers for the reply George

I mean the Merchant Details page:
http://www.affiliatewindow.com/affiliates/merchantdetails.php?mid=XXXX

The search would simply replicate the Merchant Directory search box that's available on the affiliate homepage.

Another bit of work for the lads, would be to link all Merchant names in all reports to the Merchant details page. At present, the commissions reports link, but clickref etc reports don't.

Amoochi:
There is an RSS feed of offers, but all posts are aimed at affiliates so it's not exactly appropriate for direct inclusion.

Link incase you don't have it:
Site: http://offers.affiliatewindow.com/
RSS Feed: http://offers.affiliatewindow.com/?feed=rss2

lol, well bugger me, I must have missed the newsletter that mentioned that had happened, I had no idea such a thing existed. Ya learn something new every day. Thanks for posting those for me.

Not exactly what I hoped for from AWs though, but I can see that some merchants have tried doing the same as what the Tradedoubler one does, but there's a heck of a lot of merchants with AWs that seem to go out of their way to make sure they post direct links and not affiliate useable links.

This has been going for quite a while, it's more of a replacement (or addition) to the email system

Found a slight annoyance in the affwin interface.

The "Home" link in "Support" takes you to http://www.affiliatewindow.com/merchants/
instead of http://www.affiliatewindow.com/affiliates/

Also, when you're logged into the interface, going to http://www.affiliatewindow.com/ should really redirect to http://www.affiliatewindow.com/affiliates/ otherwise some would assume they have been logged out.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for raising all of this :)
I have sent a ticket to the dev guys to let them know of the bugs and additional features.

Cheers

While we're posting minor annoyances :) ...

If I'm not logged in and I go to the offers blog I'm redirected to the AW log in screen and then redirect back to the blog. If I then want to go to my AW account and I go to the AW homepage I'm redirected again to the offers blog. I have to find a deeper AW account page in my browser history in order to avoid the redirect, or clear my cookies. Probably quite easy to fix?

I spotted that a couple of days ago and presumed it was a temporary glitch. I find it a major annoyance to be honest. It seriously needs fixing.
