Hey all,
Could anyone tell me if it possible to utilise more than one category in hot picks?? I have video games at present and would also like to mix in DVD's.
Many thanks if you can help.

I have to say, it's something i'd be interested in, having tried umpteen different methods on version 1, just to be told in the end that it was not possible, so was limited to either all categories or just one.
I don't know if it has been made possible with version 2, but if it has, I too would like to know how one would go about doing it.
I suspect we may be advised just to do it using widgets as the easiest route though, although I would like it to be added if there is still no current method.

Me too!!
Do you think it would work if I were to put
'video games, dvd' in the hot picks parameters??

I've not tried that with version 2, but with version 1 I had no success with the various ways like that, that I tried and was in the end told it was not hard coded to work that way. The hot pick parameters work on the ID not name anyway though, so if you were going to try it it would be (235,521) not (video games, dvd) I don't think you'll get much joy that way though, but if you do, let me know...

Funnily enough 'video games' has worked but 'video games, dvd' hasn't!!
If I put category ID numbers it didn't seem to work?!?!?!

Ok then, have you tried something along the lines of:
( array( "video games", "dvd" ) )
Obviously you'd have to make that work within the rest of the line properly, You haven't posted the entire line your trying, so this principally guess work as to what your putting.
