Hi y'all.
This is reaching out to anyone out there who can at least tell me how to install the elements of the V2 client software into a non shopwindow html template.
Help will be so much appreciated since I haven't got a clue on where to start. I've read all the instructional shopwindow documents but there's nowhere showing how to do this.:confused:

Firstly, it would be appreciated if you could post a link to the site your using. It's always easier than having to pluck idea's out of the air, when you've got something to visualise. I had seen you'd posted a link in another thread, not sure if it a different site or what that your talking about for this one.
As daft as this may sound, in my opinion the best approach with this is not trying to encorporate the shopwindows scripts into an external site, the best approach is to do the exact opposite and encorporate your site into the shopwindows scripts.
In other words...
Change the contents of the shopwindows templates such as page_header.tpl and page_footer.tpl to match your existing sites header and footer.
Change elements of the shopwindow CSS to match your own websites style.
Change anything such as table widths and the likes to match your existing site, etc, etc.
Then use your normal method of linking to other pages of your site to link into the shopwindow.
If your referring to adding just little bits from the scripts like search boxes or featured retailers or the likes from shopwindows into external pages, then there was a recent post to a thread made by one of the official shopwindows people explaining how to do that, which you should be able to easily find and follow.
I'm sure others could offer you alternate or possibly easier methods to achieve such things, but that's the way i'd be proceeding personally.
