Any ideas how we can change the search results in the API ?

Getting different results with and without -

Only seems to find exact matches

and what happened to Boolean?

Hi Intro,

What terms are you searching for with the - ?
For example, when searching for "playstation" and "play-station" I get the same results. This is because the search system now strips out formatting like dashes and slashes and this will then cause the "play-station" to become "playstation".
Searching for "play -station" returns different results.

In regards to boolean searching, this was removed for V2 with the idea of bringing it back when the surrounding issue was sorted.

Apologies for the inconvenience this is causing due to no boolean searches.

I get different results for

http://www.shopwindow.com/productlist.php?q=Fifi+And+The+Flowertots+Ride-on&rb=4-0

and

http://www.shopwindow.com/productlist.php?q=Fifi+And+The+Flowertots+Ride+on&rb=4-0

which is a shame as it would be good to get full results for both as they are the same item
